Cross-cultural team building

Cross-cultural team building

How do we communicate with each other? How do we express criticism? And how do we resolve conflicts? Depending on the cultural background of the team members, the answers to these questions can vary greatly.

The aim of intercultural team building is for those involved to recognize and understand the influence of their own cultural imprint on the group dynamics.

In my workshops, I support the teams in developing a common team culture. Often based on a charter in which the team members themselves state how they want to work together across different cultural contexts.

The aim is to find out how cooperation can be improved in concrete terms to form a high-performing, cross-cultual team.

Frequent topics in my trainings are:

  • Recognizing own cultural imprints and understanding the cultural imprints of the other team members
  • Building trust and improving team communication
  • Resolving conflicts in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Improving group dynamics
  • Creating a productive working atmosphere and a functioning team culture
  • Developing a team charter
